Open flare systems are used in case of emergency, regular, and recurrent discharge. Open flare systems shall ensure high efficient combustion of hydrocarbons of any volume, acidic and inert gases.
OPEN FLARE TYPES:
- with a jet-powered gate
- smoke-free with air, steam or auxiliary gas supply
- high/low pressure
- sound, multiple-point, horizontal warehouse on-ground.
FLARE STACK DEGIGN:
- with guylines
- in support tower
- self supporting
- flares for offshore platforms with jibs
- with lowered stacks
FLARE SYSTEMS WITH STEAM SUPPLY
Depending on flare tip diameter, steam in flare systems with steam supply can be fed as follows:
- in the center
- in a ring
- in a ring and in the center
- in two rings and in the center
To significantly reduce steam consumption and to improve combustion efficiency, an improved steam supply system shall be used in flare tips. Therewith steam shall be supplied depending on discharged gas flow both into a central steam nozzle and into small and large steam rings.
FLARE SYSTEMS WITH AIR SUPPLY
Flare systems with air supply are a modern and highly efficient way of ensuring required absence of smoke. Therewith there is no need in expensive steam collector, its heat insulation and condensate drain. Taking into account the fact that no steam is required, a significant economy can be achieved amounting to millions rubles per year. Flare system with air supply comprises a special design tip, fan blower, flow sensor, and fan blower control system.
FLARE SYSTEMS WITH SPEED TIPS
Speed flare tips are tips with a single or multiple nozzles for reactive mixing with air. Speed flare tips ensure absence of smoke in the upper range of emergency discharge, therewith no steam or air supply is required.
